LG Display unveiled its stretchable displays at the 2025 S/S Seoul Fashion Week, which are incorporated into textile concepts such as clothing and bags. These displays can be freely stretched, bent and rotated, allowing for instant change of design and color. These displays were showcased at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), where they were displayed on clothing and clutch bags designed by Korean designers Yoon-hee Park and Chung-Chung Lee.
This is a significant milestone for LG Display, who introduced the first prototype of the stretchable display in 2022. This display can stretch from 12 to 14 inches, maintaining a high resolution of 100ppi and a full-color spectrum. Models demonstrated this technology at the September 5 and 7 runway shows.
