Philips PUS8500/PUS8510: The first 4K QLED TVs of 2025 unveiled

Philips has launched its first 2025 4K QLED TV on its UK website. It is part of the new PUS8500 and PUS8510 series and appears to be almost identical to the 2024 models PUS8309 and PUS8109. Although only the smaller models are available on the website at the moment, the official specification sheet claims the range to be from 85 inches to 43 inches.


The Philips PUS8500/PUS8510 series will be available in 6 different screen sizes—85″, 75″, 65″, 55″, 50″ and 43″. All these models come with 4K QLED panels that are equipped with advanced technologies like a stunning wide colour gamut and micro dimming. Though it is 60Hz, in VRR function, this product has support, starting from 48Hz going to 60Hz. Its visuals are so smoother.

The same can be added further with the above qualities of feature by providing additional qualities such as Crystal Clear Picture, Natural Motion, Ultra Motion Clarity, and Ultra Resolution. This TV is based on the Pixel Precise Ultra HD processor, which is probably equipped with Novatek NT72690 chipset.

This TV is also no less in terms of audio. It has advanced sound technology like Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Vocal Boost, Room Calibration and IntelliSound. Also, two 10W full-range speakers provide better sound output.

Running on Titan OS, this TV comes with Alexa Built-in and Google Home support, which improves the experience of smart home integration and voice command.


This TV comes with three HDMI 2.0 inputs, two USB 2.0 ports, and other modern connectivity options. The 3-sided Ambilight technology is the highlight of this TV, which gives a beautiful RGB lighting effect around the screen. Also, features like Gamebar 2.0 and Light Sensor make it a great choice for gaming and multimedia.
